THE POWER OF CHANGE!

The company was founded in 2009 in the financial intermediation sector, but in 2012 we decided to diversify our mission by starting the sale of tinplate bought by several international groups, Korean, Chinese, Russian and American. This was the turning point!!!

In 2013 we began the commercialisation of easy open and open top lids of different diameters for sectors such as pet foods and agri-food

In 2018 the big leap to become packaging producers by acquiring production lines of Easy-Open and Open top lids in Italy.

To meet the demands of new and increasingly important customers, Wintergloed has chosen to invest in new plants to offer the market a constantly competitive product while maintaining the high quality standards that have always been our asset.

A strong point for the success of these intentions are the entrepreneurial skills of the current top management, which with stubbornness and cunning has been able to diversify from nothing, penetrating a market dominated by large multinational groups including “Crown and Ardagh”.

The high quality standard of our products is also confirmed by the historical skills of all our employees, highly specialised technicians.

Thanks to this, Wintergloed has succeeded in establishing itself on the Dutch market as a successful example of strategic diversification, moving from “Business To Business” in financial intermediation to “Business To Consumer” in the production of tinplate cans and lids.

In the future, Wintergloed’s vision is to strengthen its market position by continuing to add value to its customers’ products. It will be essential that we continue to focus on innovation in packaging solutions.

The company’s objective will be to ensure the highest level of excellence in every process performed by our company, in line with multinational companies in the sector.

With advanced analytical software, such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis), we can model new container designs based on optimal weights, before starting production.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

ISO 14001:2015 certification

The ISO 14001:2015 registration has recently been upgraded from individual site certifications to a multi-site certification. This multi-site certification demonstrates that Wintergloed BV meets ISO standards at every level of the organisation.

ISO 14001 is a family of environmental management standards advanced by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 14001 provides the framework to help organisations minimise their impact on the environment, comply with applicable laws and regulations and work towards continuous environmental improvement.
